Hey everybody...
I am restoring the paint on my '71 164.
I need to remove the front fender badges, and the Volvo and 164 emblems from the back. Not having any luck with either set.
Any clues?

Heatgun with a guitar pick has been my go to for removing badges on sensitive surfaces like paint. If you dont have a heat gun then you can get the same result with a hair dryer.

Hair dryer to warm and soften the adhesive, then some fishing line or dental floss under the badge, slow back and forth action to lift it. Reapply the heat occasionally if it takes too long.

If they've never been crash damaged, they will each have two little pins at the back of them, which need to be straightened from the other side of the panel. The pins may have a glob of putty over them.
Later badges (and damaged ones) often used double sided tape.
