mate Hi, The transmission in my xc70 (2005 cross country) does not maintain drive when turning right at a round aboutat speed. The engine will rev with no drive until the vehicle straightens up. This also happen when driving normaly (right hand turn only) when the vehicle is cold. I have changed the fluids in the transmission, angle gear, haldex and rear diff with no improvement. Has any member had this issue also or could help with diagnosis? No fault light on dash also Thanks.
Philia_Bear Trans is a known failure point Will set you back 5-7k to have it pulled and rebuilt with upgraded parts Second hand units are notsafe as there were multiple design faults from the factory
mate Thanks for the heads up, being a design fault from factory it sounds like it is something I will need to live with until it becomes a safety issue. Dosent even sound like Wynns could help ? Cheers.
Ex850R I wonder if a progressive flush regime and computer adaptation and software upgrade can help for now?
mate 6 monthly or yearly flushing? Unfortuanetly where I live (ACT) the service department of the only Volvo dealership have proved themselves to be incompetent and untrustworthy, so no software upgrade unless I organise it when interstate. Cheers for the input.

egads Yeah, Ikes do good stuff and if any dealer stuff needs doing they can get it done on trade, they cover some stuff for Rolfe too. @timbo is a gun bloke at Ikes.
mate Hi, found the below clip which explains why the clutch plates now slip which also afirms Bear's first comment. Lesson lernt, dont let your trany oil get old and you will be ok, even if there are design faults.
