Vintage Roof Rack
I have seen similar period and style at the Launceston Tip Shop, could then add the wooden slats for the final appearance?
Cheers. Will head out for a look on the weekend.
If you see a second one, grab it for me please! There used to be a Green 145 in Hobart with one.
Just completes the look of a wagon doesnt it! Will keep an eye out.
Found the volvo part number for the 145 roof rack.. 281376.
These dudes have it but have emailed to confirm..

Wow, I'm keen, but imagine the cost of shipping it Australia. The guy with the blue 245 had one on his, wonder if he still has it....
If they confirm it's available I am tempted to slap it on the credit card and stress about it later. Would be great to have the 100% period correct one. I love things original.
I'm with you there brother...
I could sell you those original 245 steel wheels and put the money towards the rack. They are the wagon wheels being 5.5" wide. Good tyres. 2 are new.
Actually there is the 5th (spare) too with the set.
I'm listening....
All centre caps there also
I'm still listening...
My brother had first option on them but he managed to find a set of those very rare momo vagas so these steelies need a good home. You had 2nd option so they are yours. What's a fair price u think?
Given there are 5 with centre caps and two of the tyres look brand new, I'm thinking $200?
I was thinking around that also. I'm not out to rip anyone off and would like to see them on the right volvo. Done.
Lovely stuff - I've sent you a PM and I'll send another!
Coming on the volvo camp up great lakes? Check out the event section. Would be great to catch up.
