I thought 1979 was the last year with that style dash. Guess I thought wrong.

New dash started in '81, along with the plastic bumpers, New lights and grille, and 2.3 litre engine.

So what engine in 1979, and 1980... B21, B23? Still K-Jet for both? And the steering wheel changed too I see (unless it's been swapped?).

'79 DL's got the B21A with single SU carby, usually M45 4 speed manual, auto may have been available.
'79 GL and GLE, and all '80 models got the B21E with K-Jet. Most GL's and probably all GLE's were auto, sometimes GL's had the M46 4 speed+OD box, some may have had an M45.

'79 was the first year for that steering wheel.
