  • Stud pattern / rims wheels to suit 240

As everyone would know it's super hard to get rims to suit 240. I own a 84 model . Keen on a few sets of wheels . What are you guys running ? Offset? Spacers ? What can I get ? Size width and height . Thinking 16-17 inch .
Is it worth getting stud pattern spacers and stud pattern change?

Be aware (from what I've seen anyway) Volans are easily gutter-damaged.

Also (my personal view, but I've read other people state the same), that 17" is the largest that suits 240s.

BTW, some mechanics won't pass a car for rego with spacers. (Mine doesn't. So I'd have to change the wheels, get rego, swap them back again.)

You probably know, but if you don't want to use spacers, the complete specs are 5x108 with 20mm or 25mm offset.

I did like Galaxy - until I saw the picture above! I wonder if there's another tyre sidewall height that better suits them? Because if they're going to look like that - then I don't want 'em now!? LOL...
Anyone know between Polaris, or the Eiker copy... which one is softer?
Both the Eiker & Polaris are very soft, just part of what they are :-??

I have a set of adapters for sale to suit this. 2x25mm and 2x32mm
You can drill the hubs on front for different PCD the back not as easy but can be done..

I found a set of rims on eBay 17inch
To suit a Ford Focus . So the off set is +42
Would I need spacing of 18mm?
The spacers Joe has would be the ones. The rear on 2 series is a narrower track than front so thicker spacer.
Check the centre bore if it fits on 2 axle. This I don't know.
Oh excellent. Well joe sounds like u might have a buyer . The bore is 73 mm on the on the focus rims . What size are the bores on the Volvos?

Very much so, the best you can do is reps - The Eiker E1's, or unless you want to pay the money some originl Polaris from the lads over on TB
I almost bought a pair or originals, but a better... 17x7.5 option came up :P
