I posted about this in the current 'bruce' thread in off-topic, but felt it isn't quite off-topic enough since it's actually Volvo-related :P
In summary, I just bought an 850 T-5 and I'm fixing up the things that need addressing, and found last night that the PCV system is faulty. When buying the car, I was interstate and asked my mate to check it out, but all signs back then pointed to it being OK (very little smoke out of the dipstick). I checked with a glove on the oil filler, and it started waving. Sad face.

Or try Berry Motor Group.
Gave them a call, spoke with Mark and then went down and picked up a 'kit' which consists of the following:
Ended up being $200, which isn't bad considering online, most prices are going to be more than that including shipping from either IPD or FCPEuro it appears, and unfortunately time is a factor, as I need to use it soon to travel to Adelaide, so need to fix ASAP.
The only thing is that I noticed that most kits come with the long tube going from the flame trap to the passenger side of the engine, as the
FCPEuro and
IPD kits have.
I'd rather have everything and only have to do it once - should I go back and enquire about it? Is it not actually required to replace? :)
