Nothing too amazing, but I love it.

It's pretty much how I bought it from Barwick10 - I'm not taking any credit for any of the work it's had done!

Rear muffler delete, boost gauge, decent head unit, 17" Chinese wheels, Bilsteins and Eibachs, an that's about it.

I bought it to be my toy, but its practical enough that it is also the preferred commuter car... Its 8.2 litres/100km beats the 10.2l/100km for either of the V70s... That said, it is an entertaining thing to drive.

It is also amazingly good on dirt - so much so that I'm really seriously thinking about building one as a gravel rally car. Probably a NA one though, just to make life simpler...
FWIW, this is the full size version of my sig pic:

Only real hassle I've had with it so far is the turbo oil drain leaking.

They are a fun little car. 5 speed I take it?
Yep , love em after driving an NA as loan car , reckon the T4 would be fun!
Yes, 5-speed.
It was the car that convinced me that automatics are not OK...

Now with added towbar!
Just got back from a road trip to Radelaide with the bike on the trailer. Fuel consumption blows out with the trailer - around 10.3l/100km at a steady 100kph. The scary bit is that if you sit on 120, it goes up to nearly 12l/100km... and that's the average for that tankful...

With an admittedly light trailer, it is still great for overtaking - from 100kph, if you leave it in 5th gear, you'll be doing 140kph by the time you draw level with the cab of the B-double.

I have to get one for the missus!!!
Sounds like a good swap?
/predictable :)
How many times do you think you've typed that sentence out in your life?

No idea who was driving or where they were when the photo was taken, but I suspect there was a trailer being towed...

They probably detoured into NT to the stretch of de-restricted road.

Did I mention that I love this car?

Finally properly repaired the turbo oil drain leak a few months back.
Paranoid that the PCV system was blocked, I cleaned it out - but it was spotless. Absolutely zero oil in the intake, and the intake ports/back of the valves were totally free of any carbon.
The engine mounts were tired and allowed the gearbox to rock back and touch the subframe under full load. Rather than replacing the mounts, I filled them with urethane, which has worked beautifully.

It's looking likely to be retired from daily duties in the near future (thanks to impending C30 purchase/the white T4 [see S40 T4 #3 thread]). If this actually happens, then this one will finally get the 3" exhaust, big intercooler and semi-slicks. And it may even see a track day and/or super sprint, like I originally bought it for...

Bought a set of cheap HIDs for this...
I specifically ordered the lowest colour temperature (ie: yellowest) I could get, which was 4300K.
Fitted them to the high beam (inners) today. Did I get 4300K? Judge for yourself...

It developed a sudden rattle in he front suspension today. Dropped the kids off at school, no rattle. Went to pick them up, drove two metres and it's sounds like the whole front end wants to fall out.

Broken swaybar mount:
Well, it is a rare and unusual talent - but not a very useful one.

I'm just not looking forward to having to replace it.
