  • [sold] [gumtree] Another Black C70 Manual

@AshDVS‌ !!!
Look at that birch trim!!!
With black , you love it!
That has a T5 badge on it too, what is the deal with that? As far as I know, no C70's were marked T5 from the factory...
I think you're right.
I have seen others with T5 on em.
I think one i saw at wrecker , a black one did, , it was a ' loan a tv personality car ' from Volvo to push the brand. Eddie Maguire drove it then some poor bugger took it on a test drive and killed himself in it...
The birch is much better than the horrible normal would grain, though it still makes me want to gouge my eyes out with a rusty fork.

That said, it's manual, it has Tritons and is relatively cheap.
and it has an XC grille. :-bd
Tritons, grille and manual make it a good buy!
@ashdvs can these be made to drive ok? Might be worth it for a fun track day car (which was what i originally bought the t5r for but then threw all that money at it..)
Definitely. The platform is the same as your T5R, so essentially the same thing.
I've not done any track time in a C70 but I'd still suggest that there are advantages in the two door shell (increased body rigidly) and wider rear track.
Has just dropped the price too @AshDVS‌

Im travelling this week, if it is still around next weekend might go and have a look......
Screw it
Is should just buy it and drive it back

that is a big drive
Talking to a guy who considers Sydney to Brisbane as a short day trip
And... Sydney to Yass as a workable morning commute

I would not blink twice about doing it
Not suggesting it is too far, but 4000km is a long way, whichever way you look at it.
I drove my old s60r from the Toowoomba dealer back to Perth....that was a lloooooonnnggg drive!
Car is now sold, so anyone on here get it? In any case a real bargain....
