Just rang my local Volvo dealer for prices on the two heater hoses for my 91 940GL B230FB. Was told the inlet hose (part no. 1336131) is NLA and the outlet hose (Part no. 1336133) is $154!!!
I've looked on Volvo Parts Webstore and can get both hoses (apparently genuine Volvo) delivered for around $170.
Can anyone recommend another source of OE quality hoses?
Thank you.

They are annoying part to source, I've not had too, but others on here have, I also know the heater core only comes from one source too.

Keep in mind LHD and RHD hoses are different, and even those made by Mackay Rubber are for LHD only.
I haven't been able to find any, and I've had to trim mine several times to stop leaks.
Brad
Yes, I've seen that. FCP and IPD only stock LHD. I"d prefer genuine as the existing hoses have lasted 15 years so far. So it looks like I'll have to go with Volvo parts webstore. I can get both genuine hoses from them for only a few dollars more than what Volvo in Australia wants for one hose...

Are you sure they're RHD?
Brad
Yes, the part numbers match VADIS for RHD and an invoice from the Volvo dealer when I bought the hoses from them all those years ago.

Link?

Well FCP have genuine & Mackay ones but they're probable for LHD.
I couldn't find the Mackay radiator hoses for my 960 on the Mackay site even after receiving Mackay ones from FCP. The Mackay part # was there but they didn't show it as belonging to a Volvo 960.
Maybe try emailing Mackay.

the LHD ones are easily adapted to RHD in seconds

Try www.partsforvolvoonline.com
from the UK. From memory they have at least one 940 heater hose in RHD. Not sure if oem though.

Crush the car and get a 240. They are better anyway.

Yep, they have the outlet hose. I should do both at the same time though since it's the inlet hose that's on it's way out.

My immediate response to that wasn't printable...

Shorten middle section using a joiner is pretty much all thats required
Though you dont even need to do that if you dont want assuming using 95+ spec lhd hoses
Brad
Okay, thanks. I didn't realise there was a difference between earlier and later model heater hoses but according to VADIS there is (different part numbers).

Take your old hoses, go into an Auto One or whathaveyou, and ask to see their heater hose stockpile. Then just mix and match. They'll have like a thousand different Ford/Holden hoses, you'll find something damn near identical.

I think one of the common falcon hoses is similar

Ash at DVS was able to source one of the hoses in correct RHD form for me a number of years ago. I was a little bit concerned that it isn't reinforced like most cooling system hoses, just plain rubber, but it hasn't caused any problems in several years.
The other one was impossible to source, so I ended up using a decent looking used one from a 940 between the core and the heater tap, and a piece of straight heater hose looped around between the heater tap and head.
Replicating the hose between the core and tap would be pretty easy, it's just straight with a sharp bend at the end. A VN-VS 5.0 hose or XF Falcon hose could both be cut down pretty easily to do the job there.
