Just because you were over generous with your wheels does not mean that is the market rate for them. They are in demand wheels and look really good on a 240. I see them regularly go on gumtree and ebay for $250 to $300. Most wreckers sell them for $350 for a set of 4. I myself bought these 4 months ago for 250. They cannot have devalued in that time :)
As I said , good luck , no one wanted mine on Gumtree either.

Its already sold and being picked up Sunday :)
Going rate is $400 for a set as long as they are true, I had to reroll 4 @ cost $300 with Advanced alloys, which give me $25 a rim but they are getting rare now, and the customer was happy :D
I think I will spend the money for the time being on fixing up the rest of the car. It needs suspension bushes. Then if I still have the car and am so inclined I might go for 16" wheels.
