Oz Volvo is turning 10!
To celebrate, we are going to recreate the 2011 Turbobricks Bruces cruise, an event that eventually led to the creation of Oz Volvo!
I was hoping to have a coffee break in Lithgow but I think you will have to self-manage this, as there are no cafes with enough parking nearby for us to convoy. Depending on numbers, I might see if we can get a coffee van to see us.
Itinerary
- Meet 9am @ Penrith Maccas Leagues (be careful, there's multiple Penrith Maccas)
- Depart by 9.30am
- We will pull into the car park of the Hydro Majestic in Medlow Bath and depart again at 10.30am (or after 10 minutes). If you need fuel, there is a United servo just before this car park.
- Arrive at Lithgow Blast Furnace at 11.15am for photos!
- Depart Lithgow by 11.45am
- Arrive Mt Panorama 12.45pm, convene on Ray Bant Drive near the National Motor Racing Museum (where we held the 2019 Nationals)
- Go for a couple laps of the mountain and photo-op
- Depart Mt Panorama by 1:40pm
- Late Lunch 1.45pm onwards @ B Town BBQ, Bathurst

2200kms is fine. I can visit friends in Canberra and do a 4 day(ish) trip.

I'm happy to lend the Oz Volvo name to the event if anyone in other states wants to have one, but I don't have the means to organise them myself.
I'll be driving to Great Ocean Road two days early Oz Volvo National. This could be my solo Oz Volvo 10th Yr Anniversary.

Can I come in the 110? Dont currently have a Volvo sadly. Its probably slower than than a 77 245 DL
