So after a 2+ years lay-up after covid and during that some scumbag stole my catalytic converter, my '93 240 wagon won't start. My sedan, layed-up for the same time (cat also stolen) started with problem. Fresh fuel, 98, added(to thin out stale fuel). Swapped out, injectors, ezk (under glove box), fuel pressure regulator(new), fuel pump relay and cleaned plugs.
I saw today the fuel pump fuse was blown and now replaced but did not blow again.
When I turn it over it coughs but doesn't sputter.
I can hear the fuel pump "charge" but if I try and turn it over again the I cannot hear the pump charge. If I unplug the relay it clicks. Replug the relay it the pump charges again but only for the first turn over. My sedan's fuel pump charges every time I turn the ignition on.
In-tank pump was 1yr old before layed-up.
I am running an after coil.
Is my external pump acting abnormally?
thiught?
Cheers
