blackdog Hey guys,I have a 2004 Volvo xc70 cross country 5 speed manual as my daily driver...it's been such a fantastic reliable car...I was thinking selling it as I'm trying to scale down a little...my question is what would be a fair price for it...it's done a few KMs but runs beautiful...I'd prefer it to go to a good home....eg Volvo fan.
Ex850R We need more details,, service history, interior and exterior condition, mileage, and issues, location. Pictures are king as well.
blackdog The overall condition is very good...there is some clear-coat peeling on one of the plastic rails along the roofline but not much at all ,has a small crack in the rear bumper not very noticeable..the car is located in Gippsland..
Philia_Bear When was timing belt last done When was pcv last done When was front suspension last replaced How many km on it Actual pics of interior Is it an aus delivered car or import?
ramrod Those are not really worth selling ie. you won't get very much Best to keep it if you're happy with it
Philia_Bear ramrod Those are not really worth selling ie. you won't get very much Best to keep it if you're happy with itWatch me pay too much for it ?
Philia_Bear ramrod I know of an auto one too if you want that as wellNot really Have 3 autos already... I'm sick of swapping autos
Spac The good thing about a manual one, is that the price floor for the car is what the manual parts are worth. Which might be a disappointing number, but it is still much better than the price floor for an auto one (which is scrap value).
rado I don't understand the non love for these v70xc s I don't love mine bt it's a comfortable reliable ride
Spac rado I don't understand the non love for these v70xc s I don't love mine bt it's a comfortable reliable rideWe’ve had two P2 cars, and neither of them gave us dramas. But they do have a bad reputation for autos, head gaskets and ETMs giving dramas. I think they’re also in that age range where they are neither new enough to be exciting, not are they considered classic.
GreenGL Never seen a manual P2 XC70 locally. Should be far better than the AW55Private import, or a dealer special?
