The wider door opening will be helpful.
The usual T5 things, refresh the cooling system on purchase, plus make sure timing belt has been done. And PCV has had a refresh too.
The auto on the phase 1 cars is a conventional auto box from what I've been told. Not the smoothest unit for a newer car, but gets the job done.
Expect some turbo lag and some time to get used to the way the accelerator performs.
Check for windscreen glue leaks, blocked sunroof drains, tail light leaks.
Tow bar is not the same as S40 or V50.
Lower control arm bushes will chew out tyres if left too long before replacement.
Interior finishes are a bit cheap.
