SOLVED-
I've been very active on here lately and I feel like I should be lending a hand not just asking questions 24/7 so whilst dealing with this dilemma I have I'm making a dash install/removal how-to for 240s in particular for people in need as the reason for the removal is not only wiring issues but a cracked dash
But onto my nightmare. Some hooligan before me who owned this 1983 240 couldn't be asked dealing with the indicator problem at hand so he Jerry rigged a flasher setup to get him by.
Red wire on flasher is going to a switch, and the switch wire is going to fuse no1 for accessory power...
The hazards work, indicators still works of the stalk, just the switch has to be on for all to work......
I believe he's gotten rid of the relay that's meant to be there but I have no wiring diagram to go on.
