You can also factor in that any more aggressive pad on STD rotors ( outside of design specs) is also going to mean you are changing rotors and pads much more due to increased wear ( much like Volvo now does with the P3 rear brakes that use the City Safe function and brake for you , gee , the fronts dont last that well either!
Mazda RX7 callipers were the 'go too' for 240 upgrades in the past but SO many more options are out there .
The aforementioned Kaplhenke has modified struts available to fit not only better brakes but better steering too.
