A friend of mine has a 2009 V70 T6 AWD.
She started it at work the other day, got a short way and the engine cut out in the car park at low speed. It would restart, but die quickly and be undriveable from what I could gather from her hysterics.
NRMA turned up to look at it, and the OBD code reader said "system too rich bank 1". The error code was "P01 72/$07E8".
She has had it towed to a mechanic who could not replicate the issue. It idled for a couple of hours, they took it for a couple of drives, and all went normal. They are pretty much telling her it is fine, but clearly something went wrong.
Has anyone had an issue like this? "system too rich" indicates a fuel/air mix problem to me (airflow meter? O2 sensor? Fuel pump?) but I also understand these OBD errors are often so vague they are useless.
