240Wagon85 So i picked up an 85 240 wagon a couple of months ago and its tired but still goes smoothly for 450000 on the clock. Recently i have noticed it blows white smoke out of the exhaust whenever i drive it a bit hard. I know its old and they arent fully indestructible but i am just very confused to it only blowing the smoke occasionally. The temp is normal and the gauge does work, i park it and it blows smoke then drive it a bit more and the smoke is gone. Any suggestions??
Roinik Inlet valve stem seals / exhaust valve guides for the stop-smoke-gone scenario. Are you sure it is white smoke, not blue and with an oily smell?
