Hello folks. I can say that other advice here about replacing serpentine belt and tensioner is good advice.
Mine shredded, tangled in the crank pulley and the cams went 90degrees out of phase. Very confident the head is destroyed after searching for advice in despair.
Now although the car has a lot of hw km it never used zny oil and ran beautifully and i would prefer to revive it.
Is a remanufacyured head a viable option? Are they available in Australia or need to be imported? I would be grateful for advice from anyone who has read about this sort of thing or been through it please.

Ps. I blame myself but attribute thw damage to a leaky thermostat gasket dripping coolant onto and ruining the belt tensioner.
