I bought a couple of other 2.2 ( I think, also must check now!) flywheels and a flat flywheel yesterday for experimenting with fitting a flexplate tone ring or machining sensor gaps on my mill - in theory using a dividing head, the machining of non 2.4 parts should be pretty easy??? At least it doesn't look like it is complicated at the beginning...... Famous last words. Surley a few thou is accurate enough for such things. The tone ring punched spaces don't look very precise.
For my application I want the lighter flat flywheel and either m41 or m46 standard clutch depending on which way I go.
