Car #1. White with grey leather interior and alloy wheels.
1993 940GLE. Was registered until earlier this year. Had a pink slip ready for rego but I stuffed up on the 90 days thing and now will need a blue slip.
Was in the one family from new, until I bought it. Has been a country car all it’s life, so zero rust but more stone chips than most city cars.
Runs and drives well, with no problems.
Odo and speedo were intermittent when I bought it. Have repaired it, but not refitted.
Has 8V B230FB (531 head, 13mm rods and should be a squirter block.
Body and paint are above average for its age, but have expected marks and blemishes.
Never been smoked in. Some wear to the leather on the front seats. Nearly new head unit (BT, USB, etc).
Everything works - AC, heater, etc.
$750 or sensible offer.
Car #2.
White 1991 940GL with tan cloth interior and steel wheels.
Previous owner was a bit rough on it, and has some rough areas - things like broken interior plastics etc.
Was running beautifully, but then decided to have no injector pulse. Have since swapped the AFM with Car #1 and borrowed the instrument cluster.
Very good panel and paint for its age, but the panel between the front bumper and the body is damaged (did I mention the previous owners?...).
$250 or sensible offer.
Will do both for $800 ono.
Also have some other 940 spares that I am happy to chuck in - diff, front suspension and steering parts, a few panels and some other odds and sods.
Also have a manual pedal box available with the either car for $100.
Both cars are located in Yass NSW. Can deliver to Canberra. Can possibly also deliver further afield (Sydney, Melbourne, Wagga) for fuel money.
