I don't know if all volvo models are the same but one some its turn the ignition on and off 5 times then press button on remote. Found that on that Roberts site utube.
I will take them steve and give it a go. I have 1997 v70 its an early model so it might work. Worst case senario i can just use the covers and batteries to repair my broken one.
