  • [VIC] FREE Set of 'Corona' wheels. to Fit 240, 264 etc.

Planned to polish these up and clear coat them, but too many other jobs and need the
space. (mostly red dirt/dust stuck on the surface, not rust)

Tires have probably had it. will throw in original steel rim spare.

I'm thinking these would be good blasted and chromed in a tinted charcoal chrome look....
I had a set on an anniversary 240 model. I never cleaned them....

Yep! came off my 1990 anniversary Wagon, they look really classy when in good nick with original caps.
They were originally painted silver with the faces of the spokes machined and then the whole wheel was clear coated. There were also optional versions that were gold or black with machined faces, I think there was also a painted silver version but I've only seen them overseas. I painted a set silver for my 262 and the results were pretty good.
They were fitted standard to '79-'85 264/265, the '79-'81 262C and the anniversary 240.

How can you tell? He hasn't even mentioned being on an oil rig or using western union money transfers
The language firstly...then I looked and he has listed that he is from USA, so no point asking where wheels are located if you just joined an Australian site minutes before. I could be totally wrong of course, but I wouldn't risk identity theft or having my account cleared out for $50 wheels!
