OK, I’m pulling bits off a 93 240 sedan, and came across this on the front lower control arm rear mount on the left side. It appears somebody drilled extra holes in the mount bracket to shift it outboard. The only thing I can think is the previous owner hit something and bent the control arm, and to rectify the alignment a mechanic drilled the holes and shifted the mount. The holes on the RH side mount seem to be enlarged as well to allow some sort of adjustment. Any other ideas? I was hoping to use the suspension from this on my 79 wagon, but now I’m a bit concerned about the control arm (I can use the 79 bushing bracket so not that big a deal). Guess maybe I can measure the lower control arm and compare it to the opposite side arm and/or the arm from the 79??
