Mackay78 The swap went well and took way longer than it should have for many reasons one being I see another fix then do tgat as well and so on and so 4th. I now have an awd box with the bigger drive and want too connect my speedo up ,Not the same I believe.. Does anyone have any input to my speedo delema????
Ghettobird Some details would help. What year 850? What year box? Did you retain the speedo pickup? Did your car previously use a speedo pick-up on the gearbox? Or no pickup - gets speed from tone ring on front left wheel? IF your car previously used the diff for speed, you can tap into the ABS wiring and get a tone signal from there to drive your speedo
Mackay78 Too easy. Sensor on old box .... I called voldat said julian said its out back but diddnt say pom import as pofter on medication may offend some . lol. Next port Berry's . He said 850 R, reco drive shaft 900 dollars ,holy I said can you warranty that . Answer being No as I mentioned high HP "dickhead" I said too my self.... Ahwell! For Xmas this year my kids will receive their only present "Fast Drive" in dads car and Fks me what were having for Xmas lunch!
Ghettobird The gearbox IS out back and it was made very clear that it was from a UK import car, What point are you trying to make?
Mackay78 Point being I didn't use all the info you gave me making me the dickhead and had I I may have saved money which in turn would help out ova the Xmas break.
