redkiwi Are there any SA Volvo club members on here? I was somewhat disheartened to find that they don't have a website or even a Facebook page. A friend went along to the AGM and was not surprised to find himself the youngest by at least 20yrs. Without having joined yet or been to a club meeting is someone able to let me know if the club is open to change and embracing the newer younger generation of Volvo enthusiasts or is it set in it's ways and we're better of starting up our own gig? Not looking to split heirs but my friend was of the opinion that the latter was the better option.
Ben Did you get anymore info? I just found out that they've purchased the worst domain name possible and created a new website: http://www.volvocarclub-sthoz.org.au/
egads (she/her) William, the bloke who bought the 142 is in the SA club also. He was of similar opinion on the club although the website is promising.
redkiwi Wow, that is quite a domain name... Haven't heard from anyone - I already know Calvin on here and I know of one or two others who I think have joined up here. Looking like we'll have to come up with something for ourselves but I'm still thinking I'll join the old boys Volvo club anyway.
Ex850R Let's do a Victorian/South Australian combined PROGRESSIVE club? Or, make ozvolvo the new national one and have subchapters? JAMES?
redkiwi Pretty much. I read the urban dictionary definition of my name which is based on his character and it matched surprisingly well!
calvintibia001 redkiwi;18091 wroteHaha, I was referring to #2 but the missus doesn't disagree with #1! I might go to one of their meet with my 940 with a 3" Exhaust and a Front mount hang out the bottom of the car and do skids everywhere
Vee_Que Front Mount won't be hanging out though. This happened for the vic club with the likes of Ash and Ben and some others getting involved. Its literally just a matter of getting on it.
