After taking everyone’s advice on the XC90 off-road capability’s I decided to leave it for the school run and bought this 2010 Jeep Wrangler unlimited petrol manual for the beach and camping . Went to Fraser Island for 4 days of unpowered camping and was amazed how capable it was going in soft sand , across creeks and over rocks and barely needing to go into low range . After seeing the amount of soft roaders bogged i was glad I didn’t try it in the XC90 !
Although that being said with the 2 inch lift and a roof covered in camping gear it really wasn’t much fun on the drive there and I appreciated the road manners of the Volvo when I got home !
