Front suspension clunks, clicks xc90 v8

xc90 v8,have a few clunks/clicks to sort out,when I brake or slow down around corners but was assured the lower control arms were replaced, maybe the swaybar links?? Any advice?
plus anyone have a dip stick for sale?as dealer snapped half the plastic off when toping up oil

Last? what's the best type /grade oil to use for these Yamaha engines?... Thx heaps, love this site

Penrite fully synthetic.
Do not believe anything anyone tells you when they are selling you the car, look for yourself!
Refurb the whole front end, bushes etc?

Hi mate welcome!

I use penrite HPR 5 fully synthetic in my V8. Not a drama.

i just had the whole front end on mine refreshed. The clunks and bumps and Clicks coukd be from any number of suspension items in these cars!

I figured that I could chase my tail and keep replacing each part or just figure at the age and km of the vehicle it pretty much all needed a refresh. And save on labour and get it all done while everything was out.

Probably do the lower drivers side engine mount and upper and lower torque mounts too. I did mine. Easy DIY job.
