Was newer motor but not an RN so still not worth it.
Spent too much on this car and couldnt ever sell it so someone ran up his arse.....
May go for $2-500.
If Manheims didnt want to charge to create a user account, I'd place a bid.
That's a sad looking butt. Perhaps I should start a Kickstarter and offer those that pledge a free part each :-? I bags the front spoiler though.
Ye got 10 hours...
Better deals come up, a C70 vert the other week I believe a few hundred.RN motor too.
There goes that idea. I think I am better off keeping my eye out for a 242 rolling chassis and nothing more.
This was an insurance job, it has a blown head gasket better for the guy to claim the $11000 insurance than pay for the head job! 3 k he smashed it to a shipping container, and then with the payout bought a 240. ALLEGEDLY :|
Looking at the distinct impact damage with a very sqaure object and how conveniently close this is to the LH rail, that sounds like a plausible theory.
That's a very fast reverse into a stationary object to make such damage, how did that not get questioned? Really?
It's these claims that push our premiums up into the stratosphere, I call bogus......
The funny thing is its true he bought a 1984 240 GLE with 112km on the clock for 4k, so he has made money, but written off a good car
Yep, I can back that up as well, but at least he bought a brand new looking Volvo 240 :D ;)
which has also been in crash and repaired, and full respray :P
Mmmm, karma sorts out shit like this real fast.....
Just met Darren this evening , got a couple of small bits for V70/850 off him , that 2540 he got is the best one i have ever seen!! Magic dark grey colour , the seat material, blue and trim/interior/door cards are immaculate , what a good buy!! I told him abot @Ash having good springs and Mike having +T parts but his missus has all the rest of the cash... Poor bugger. He could spendy a $2K at most and have a real nice near new car...
