Just remember that this kit does not come with a throwout bearing so you may want one of those. I bought my throwout from a local dealer for about the same cost as online. The clutch kit itself locally was between $550 and $1000 depending on the dealer I spoke to.

We couldn't beat that anyway. We could probably (barely) go within $100 of it though.
The price difference on some things even via correct/official channels between local and OS Volvo genuine parts can be amazing.
Sometimes it swings the other way though. eg. Genuine Volvo brake pads are often actually price-competitive against aftermarket oem-type options.

Honestly Ash, If you can go within $100 of that you have an exceptional price.. I would go as far as to say the second best price in the world.

If i wanted one in Australia and didn't want the wait/worry that comes with buying internationally I would be at your doorstep in a flash.

We have pretty good pricing on a lot of replacement parts. There are a few skews though - sometimes it is outrageously too expensive and other times we can be super competitive.
Often the downside can be turnaround with what we dont have in stock.

If there is no cost saving, and we cant have it to someone quickly, I can understand where it isn't realistic to buy through us.

Here's an example of inflated local pricing.

My buy for the locking nuts on the top of the front strut on an 850 and x70 is $8
I needed them in a hurry for me shock rebuild so had to buy them.
This is pretty crazy.
