Original 850T5R with Factory reco Engine with about 30K , Car has done 225k
It runs fine , but clutch , passanger CV , and turbo needs attention or reconditioning.
The car as a new set of koni shocks front and rear , Sports exhaust and window tint and alarm with central locking
I will update the pics. Some of the ones provided are the originals on pickup and I have cleaned up some of the missing items such as fuel rail cover , tape on throttle body and incorrect turbo boost valve. Not sure but it may be a cat back exhaust as the catalytic converter is still there. I have removed the aftermarket stereo and amp in boot but left the speakers mounted in the doors.

A couple of quick questions - just looking at options here going forward.
Has Anyone replaced a Clutch on the 850 t5 R and CV Boot Cover - is this a difficult thing to do ? are there any Specialised tools - Cost of Clutch Kit ? - Time to Install - ?? - Skill Set. Phone a friend.. Local Supplier would be nice.
Has Anyone Pulled off the Turbo - and put a recondition kit into it. - is this a Big One, to do - Have Done done it before can suggest a contact,
Let me know your thoughts,
Thanks

my car has the original wooden gear knob! and those door speakers don't do the car any justice! its a shame though cause a black t5r is rare! 7 black t5r came to oz and 22 crème yellows and one olive green! my one is a 1995 t5r in manual with 149 500kms and full service history no rips an tears and stock standard! what ive done was the 2half inch mandrell bent high flow powermax cat and muffler with square chrome tip (like the original one!) and a k&n air filter I bought it up in salt ash near nelson bay nsw in august last year! ive done a lot to it like timing belt and waterpump, new mounts, front rotors and pads, drive shaft seal, all new breather bow and air lines! etc etc .
@AshDVS knows the car cause ive sent pics of it to him to his mobile!

Back to the Original Question - Clutch Kit and Turbo rebuild
Where is the best place to purchase a Clutch Kit 850 ( Few Sites in the US im told you do not need a Heavy Duty Clutch) - and a to get the Turbo Rebuilt. or Reconditioned.
Ex850R
Get genuine Volvo 850R clutch, nothing else....FCP or Partsforvolvonline in UK.(PFS) UK is usually cheaper postage.
The turbo you can buy the kit off eBay and do it or get a recognised local place to.
Mike - Philia Bear may have kits and does have turbos on the forum.
You need to get it balanced after rebuild.
Parts runs are done for bulk orders by Bruce's all the time to save post costs shared, check.out the forum list to see if its on.

Don't listen to what the Yanks post on forums, 95% of them have no idea.....
Of course you require a HD clutch but only a Volvo one, @Rob got one recently, ask him.

+eleventy billion.
We can help with the clutch kit too.
Rob
Absolutely. 850R genuine clutch is the way to go .. No question... Don't be fooled into thinking something else will be better/cheaper. I tried and failed. I tracked down a genuine clutch at an excellent price. Will find the details.
