Bit of an all-in-one thread, bare with me.
It's that time again for new tyres and given I'm planning on new wheels anyway, it'd seem best to go for new wheels and tyres all at once, rather than buying a set of rubber now, then another for the new wheels down the line.
Here's the deal.
- It's damn hard to find any wheels I like with a 5x108 PCD
- Most of ones I do like are hella expensive
- The ones that aren't expensive are either 9.5" wide or the wrong PCD...or both
I seem to see some people running 9" - 9.5" at the rear, but I don't see anyone running more than an 8.5" up front.
So what's the most wheel you can fit under a C30? Without ripping the fender lining out of course.
Alternatively, there's the option of changing the bolt pattern. Spacer adapters are around, but i'm not sure how I feel about them. Some say don't, some say they're fine.
Should serve as a good thread for anyone else looking at wheels for P1 cars anyway.
Cheers
