head light wipers

The more I think about it I've never seen a 740/760 with head light wipers that actually work. Not either of the ones I've owned or my mates. Just me?
Are they just so old they are destined to never work again? Or is there a switch somewhere I'm yet to find?

850 and x70 are often the same, though typically one does work while others dont.
On my old 850T5, I simply removed them and fitted headlight trims from a car without them.

On my current V70T5, I'm pleased that it doesnt have them.
However, Im fitting a V70R front bar which has holes for them (grrr.) which need to be filled.

I've seen a couple of photos of progress on your v70 and its looking pretty good!

I think they were designed to cause frustration, typically shortly after warranty expiration.

Ahhh no. They were half removed when I got the car.. I refitted them.

And yes, they are linked to the windscreen wipers.

But... This is on my C70. I have never had a set on a 7xx

The only thing stupider looking than headlight wipers is the little plug in cap thingy that sticks in the holes that people pay a small fortune for!

I don't have them on either of my 7s now but they did work on my 760gle... and I made a set work on my 264Gle. I know of a vb sl/e that had working wipers too. They work off the washer circuit.
