Ok brains trust I have the following question:
I have just installed a B230FT into a 86 240
Ive used the LH2.2 with EZK and 740T computer
The B230FT motor was running a 850 AFM as well and running fine
I have replaced the injectors with red tops from a 850T
Problem now being it idles at 2-2500 rpm
Timing belt, plugs, leads, dissy cap, rotor all replaced
Im now at my whits end what canbe the issue

You adjusted the throttle air bypass adjuster?

Doesn't it make any difference if you unplug the wiring to the isle air valve? Sure you didn't get the wiring to it mixed up with the coolant temp sensor or some such?

Evening all checked the wiring and it all appears to be correct, wondering if its the A/C wiring for some reasons increasing the revs

Why would someone do this? The 850 uses a different version of Bosch LH, how would this work?

The sensor is still broadly doing the same thing so I can see the logic but is still a bit bananas

that's what I thought but it was running fine in the 740T.
