FCP Camshaft/crankshaft oil seal brands

I'm making a list of parts to buy. For one oil seal FCP lists Volvo and Elring but suggests buying the Elring. For a second seal they list Volvo, Elring, and Corteco, but this time suggest buying the Corteco although the Elring is cheaper. (I find it odd the second page doesn't recommend the Elring like the first page does.)

I see Elring is made in Taiwan, Corteco is made in Italy. Does anyone have good/bad experiences with Elring/Corteco camshaft/crankshaft oil seals? (Does one have longer life/better fit over the other?)

I've just always used the elring ones
On the camshaft seal there are multiple thicknesses now for some reason... you want the thick one

I can see the idea behind the thinner camshaft seals as you can move the sealing surface if the cam has a groove worn in it by the old seal. That said, the thicker ones are far easier to get in and sitting square. I've had problems in the past with the thin ones not sealing.

I use elring because oem is elring to my understanding. Where parts for 20+ year old cars are made are not the major issue. Just the quality control.
