I finally took some nice photos of the car (cameraphone quality, but still pretty solid!)

Can I have toast with the reserve please?

Tidy Wagon.. :-bd

I swapped the corner lamps to clears recently.

Cat's name is Dot. She's awesome!
Turbo coolant line ruptured. It ran between the turbo and the manifold. I got a new fitting and rerouted it away from the manifold, and added some heat shield sleeve for good measure.

New owner as of October 2015. I will update this thread as opposed to starting a new one with any news. Cars now in VIC and taking it into Mark Icetom for a Roadworthy check in a couple weeks.

Great PIC.
I must say Jay the red wagon is looking very cool. So James' car is in Vic too?
Yes it is @nickm I am the proud owner f this beast now
Cool
It is always nice to know where they end up, and to see new owners with the same enthusiasm for the cars. These are getting rare now with so many being wrecked for turbo conversions.

A few updates.

Car has been in the shed for the better part of this year.
Had a lady rear end it while it was parked outside my house.
Been upgrading and working on it in my down time since.

What's done so far:

Fitted a new 15g turbo since the old one shat itself and disintegrated the compressor wheel.
Fitted one of @Vee_Que's intercoolers.
Installed new rear brake rotors.
New fuel pump.
Gave her all new fluids, plugs, battery, belts.
New injector seals.
New exhaust manifold gaskets, nuts etc.
Replaced leaky coolant overflow bottle and sensors.
Removed headlight wipers, motors and wiring.
Blacked out headlight buckets, installed blanking plates where old wiper plastics were.
Replaced entire radio antennae assembly.
New rear lights and rear bumper including shocks.
Pulled the damaged fender out best we
Could.
Removed tow bar and 3rd row seat to lose some weight.

Swapped 70% interior pieces to black, plan on getting new black carpet made up and dyeing the front dash plastics that I couldn't remove the same colour.

Planned for the near future:

531 head swap, ported and cleaned up by @Vee_Que.
T5 Manual conversion. Waiting on freight from a bloke in nsw.
Ported 90+ exhaust manifold with T3 flange for more turbo. As above.
Kaplhenke coilovers front and rear. Also as above.
Garrett Gt28,30 or 35 turbo, with smaller .63 rear housing. Haven't decided which yet.

Needs some decent wheels.
S90 side skirts - wanted.
740 front add on lips - ordered.
Wind deflectors - wanted.
Tints.

The t5 swap with 240mm clutch and flat flywheel drilled for lh 2.4 and manifold is the one I did in June last year. It's a shame it's been wrecked out. I still think a gt30 71 is the best bet for space.
This wagon is a testament to my ability to solder. Does the remote start still work? I paid $40 for that kit
Yeah I got a very good deal on the trans and parts and I'm very much looking forward to installing them!
@jamesinc sure does, and my mrs was very impressed the first few times I used it in her presence ??
I had the same unit, I think the rest of it overdid it on my 760.

Some updates:
Scored a 90+ manifold and some other goodies.
Swapped in a good used alternator as mine was on the way out and very noisy.
In preparation for Rwc I need to weld the passenger floor pan.
Spent an hour and a half removing front seat and scraping back all the dynamat to see how bad the job was.
Also got around to filling sanding priming and painting the rear.
But if a ghetto job and paint doesn't match but it's something for now.

I had to have that floor pan patched back in 2010 too, lame that it's gone again
Vee_Que;124495 wroteLeaking scuttle panel.
The Jurbo had a problem in the very same place.

Where exactly does the scuttle leak?
I haven't fixed mine but I know it does leak, especially in a car wash.
Yeah I need to remove the scuttle and see where it's leaking. Haven't researched a fix but imagine it wouldn't be too hard to throw some sealant in there or something.
@jamesinc yeah it's got some nasty holes and the part where the seat rail mounts is rusted through.
Riveted panels aren't Rwc down here so Michael is gonna help me seam weld it up this week.
Good move anyway, just make sure you cut all the rust out, or you'll be repeating the process eventually. Are you taking a floor cut from a donor car?
Don't have that car anymore. I guess I'll have to find one for it
mmm welding in rain.......... good times
penta242gt;124869 wrotemmm welding in rain.......... good times
It was fun and we got it done.
Just need to retar the inside and rubber coat the underside, and then find and fix the leak location.
