And the fuel pump could be a bit on the weak side. Is less likely to be under full strain as such, when at 10psi that the throttle is asking for too stay at a reasonable turn on speed on a Freeway. The engine runs a bit lean because the fuel pump and fuel filter are not keeping up with the fuel demand . Therefore you won't have a rod through the side of the block like a 9mm rod motor would have in that situation.

Of centre it can happen if the wastegate hose comes off and stays shut and overboosts by accident too.

Would you care to elaborate on your comment about me being wrong mate? Also, sorry about not having any car threads, I don't advertise my cars on the internet. I've read a lot of things about you on this very forum. It seems like you are often times the one to not know what he's talking about, and since I joined this forum about 6 months ago, you've made a bit of a rep for yourself and lots of times people pull you up on incorrect things, and criticising people's cars. You have no business telling someone off for their car, their ideas, or anything. I'm pretty sure you have had a few warnings in the past, anyhoo I'll leave it there I have said what I wanted.

Let's continue helping the OP on his original question, which was him looking for an engine.
