This is to track my super slow +Tee project on my Volvo 940GLE
This car is my second Volvo, my first Volvo is a 1982 240 $600 from Gumtree, was driving it as a daily and then wrecked it. Then this Volvo 940GLE (B230FB, AW71, 531 Head) is from my dad, he bought it brand new in 1994, he left Australia in 1998, and it have been sitting in Sydney and my uncle drove it and did not properly maintained it. I got the car early 2013, decide to give it a good service, back then I was not interested in modding the Volvo, since I was saving up for something easier to do up, but change of Plans, +Tee it is !)
List of things that I did:
The Brakes was terrible: (New Volvo Pads, New Volvo Disc, Rebuild Brake Booster, New Fluids)
The Cat was stuffed: (Eaten, I mean Gutted)
The Suspension was squeaking like hell: (Caster Bushes, Sway bar bushes)
The Engine temperature sometimes sky rocket: (New Coolant, New thermostat)
The Engine runs rough: (New Spark Plugs NGK, Cleaned Throttle Body, Cleaned Idle Control Valve)
The Overdrive sometimes automatically disengage: (New Overdrive Relay)
The Transmission sometimes shift like a dog: (New Transmission Fluid, Big Tranny Cooler)
Fail the Shoe Test massively: (Lowered Springs Front and Rear, Billy HD Rear)
