Its an industry wide issue and Japanese are better now after getting caught out hiding faults in the past. It seemed to get much worse with Volvo when Ford was in control and there were some dealership changes.
Have had a c30 windscreen replaced. Make sure you get them to use an oe weather seal at the top and check it for leaks afterwards.
