You could put the wagon rails onto it.
And drop crossbars on when needed.
The wagon ones screw in, cut the side rails to suit, trim the trim to fill back in the gutter.
I had some cut back to put half roof rails on my wagon.
I have spares if you want to go that way.
Even the Cross bars.

Great idea though My ocd couldn't stand the look of non genuine item.

It is genuine...It come on the roof of every wagon , well , some didnt.

The wagon has wisbars and sit on rails . I can't picture how you could clamp them onto a sedan with no rail with out showing a that it's been cut up. ??? Please explain.

Rails fit into the bolt down bits so shorten them, bolt to roof, there's a pic of one somewhere on USA forum.
