@carnut222 The donor car which I took the calipers from had been sitting a long time and they were in a real state with torn dust boots and fluid + brake grime everywhere. I tried using compressed air but embarrassed myself for 5 minutes before I gave up on that idea haha. These pistons were stuck! I ended up putting them in a vice and hitting the edge of the grooved section (which holds the dust boot) working my way around the piston. I only did this because I had new pistons, and come to think of it, I have a set of valve spring compressors that I could've rigged up to pull it out easily. Next time.
For some reason me and paint just never work out. Something always happens and ruins my masterpieces. I feel like I should be clear coating my painted parts or just let the professionals take over. All my photos are much nicer versions than the real thing, including the entire car.
The brake hoses from Pirtek were made in-house based on my old one - took a small lifetime and cost me $150!! It started at $104 then went to $126 then to $150. This is because I asked for a sheath of tubing and those circular, rubber, hose/strut protection thingamajigs.
As for window tinting a car, look at this 10 minute video:
Looks easy enough.
Apparently Johnson's & Johnson's baby shampoo is what this guy and many others use.
I've ordered this kit, and I already have a heat gun. I'll let you know how it all goes:
