spdterence I have a Jan 14 built May 14 complied genuine Polestar S60. Just love the car tbh have been looking for a replacement - honestly nothing stacks up. But find myself in a funny spot - Changed jobs, accountant advises to take car allowance for tax purposes. I own the car outright but the leasing companies wont buy it back off me because I have owned it longer then 3 mth, 6 months, 1 year (different rules, different companies) I checked a couple of companies before I structured my package this way and in Nov last year they did - so something has changed. As this is a specialist car and appreciated only by a few I wondered if there was anyone here that might want it - I'm thinking in the mid $40K's. It has 18 months of genuine Volvo warranty left on it, 42K on the clock and in all round good health. It is missing the front skirt winglets - it came from the dealer like that - dont know why - and I did get a pretty reasonable price I think because of that. I do believe these are easily caught and damaged so I never replaced them - so that is about the only thing I would say detracts from the car. A little wheel rash would be the other thing. A penny for your thoughts.
spdterence BTW this is the MY 15 version - it has the paddle shifters behind the wheel and the clearance light delete from the nose. Tyres have done maybe 5000K.
Philia_Bear If you have a choice of lease company Sgfleet will buy back anything as long as the lease ends before the car is 10 years old
egads (she/her) Yeah, selectus would buy back anything under 10 years for us. Worst case 2 lots of stamp duty and a trusted 3rd party will make it in your ownership very freshly

VolvoMike It's a MY14 if it's built that early. 10th digit of the VIN will be an E. The differences are MY14 has a square Polestar imprint in the front seats like the badge. Rear badges and boot spoiler are different to MY15. Not all 14's had big brakes and have R design pedals not Polestar. No alcantara on the centre console armrest. silver trims around windows not black. Grey trims like r design or black MY15 cars. Wheels are 19's and no bi modal exhaust. MY15 also has a bigger turbo. I didn't realise there was a different turbo - so there were two increases in turbo size then? Because my understanding is that mine was already larger over standard.
