Hi All,
I am considering a manual swap for a 740 (LH2.2) and would like to know of any parts in the Volvo communities. I have a lead on a pedal box already, and maybe a flywheel. Remaining are:
Pedal box (may have one)
Clutch master/slave + pipe
Flywheel (may have one)
Clutch plate/pressure plate + thrust bearing and lever
drive shaft (which I assume is different)
Shifter and boot
Trim for shifter/console
gearbox
The car is a 740 wagon I have picked up as an engine donor for a 144. The car is in really good condition though, so it is a shame to see a well maintained Volvo go to scrap just because it is an auto and has a nil market value. It only has 200 odd thousand km on it, so still an adolescent really.
Mark the mad pom is already chasing parts, though anything else around Melbourne or Canberra would be interesting to hear of.
