I have one too, hence the research. About to go into a 740 factory B230K (carb) M47 wagon. Looks to be a relatively simple conversion.

Oooo, a carb 740. Is there a build thread for it? I'd be keen to see. My kit was in rough shape, the turbo and carb both need rebuilding. So far I've just torn it all down and cleaned everything. Still need to decide if I want to use an entirely new carb. Mine's going in to an originally K-Jet 244, so I have to do a bit more work to convert it to carb.

No build thread for any of mine, should do that one night. About 4 project Volvo's going right now so plenty of content.
