How do I adjust the air fuel mixture on early 264 . Running and idling but can't get it to rev beyond 1200rpm . Any ideas .

How is the bellows on the kjet? I would look at fixing any splits and perished rubber and maybe injector seals before adjusting.

Have done all that . I'm thinking blocked fuel reg maybe ?

Do 260's have 2 fuel pumps?

This one has just the one but 3 fuel filters

Hmm, I think mine did this and it was something very simple. But for the life of me can't remember what. Can you tell us more about the history of the engine etc?

Make sure all those rubber hoses at the back of the intake manifold (below the idle mixture valve/screw) are all plumbed in; there's about 6 of them at various junctions... I had one of these just off and didn't see it so had the issue of the motor running rough. Turned the mixture scre to fix it but it continued to run around 1500rpm at idle... Sneaky waza...
