I have fitted the fibre injector isolators with the correct seals and have found that it has made a small but marginal improvement. at the current fuel pressure it will not misfire but idle extremely low and require me to maintain my foot on the throttle to keep it from stalling for about a minute. idle will eventually get back up. I have slightly addressed this by turning adjustment screw to increase the idle but it is too high when normal running (about 1k) instead 700.
I have ordered a replacement fuel filter with the thought that when the tank ran dry two times due to faulty voltage stabiliser on the gauge it may be limiting fuel pressure.
With that idle issue, it sounds like maybe your idle air bypass slide valve isn’t working properly. You should have a higher idle when cold, then when it warms up the idle air valve closes completely and idle should drop down to specified RPM. Have you checked the state of the air bypass valve when the engine is stone cold? And when warm?
