240 740 760 small radiator 940 drop in Intercooler Interest / group buy

Hello All.

I've managed to get in contact with a Chinese supplier who already makes 740/940 drop in intercoolers with correct shaped end tanks etc. I have to have a minimum order of 10 units however and I'll be posting on here and on Turbobricks. I would receive the intercoolers than pass them on.

Standard Size except for the 60mm thickness core, which is a bit more than double stock thickness...

We will be looking at around 150-160 each unit with delivery...

So I'll update with info, I'd like to keep this on topic so if people want to contact me by Pm or my mobile which is. Post in here with interest too.

Edit again:

I am able to get a sample run as it's the same amount of work for them to make 1 or 50 to setup. Price per unit is $95USD.

I've received images of a completed unit and have the final quote for the first batch!

I don't have enough information for it past the initial knowledge they exist. I'm working on it right now to get a sample unit, But while I have some time I'm going to get onto advertising it.

I'm going to say the price will be around $160 with delivery but the unit price is not quite that amount. But I don't want to promise anything yet.

Well worth proceeding with some caution on aluminium stuff such as radiators and intercoolers from china.
It can be quite hit-and-miss.
I have seen some reasonable ones and some ordinary ones.
If they're prepared to ship you a sample unit for free or at a bulk-purchase price for evaluation, its probably worth the gamble.

Every other intercooler comes from China. So I don't see why these would be an issue. They make lots more intercoolers for more general makes and models too. I can get the sample run for just one or 50 for thier same lead in time so I wouldn't want to waste thier lead in time but I may need too. And of course my testinh etc.

More importantly the sample run will be the cheapest one I'm going to offer and the second run will cost a bit more as I will be receiving the units and packing them etc for a limited market.

On a similar topic, any chance of a cheap Aluminum Radiator ? If your planning on making one, make it without the Trans cooler bit, coz anyone upgrading to a Aluminum Rad either have Manual Box or a Trans cooler

There already is an aluminum radiator so no real point. I can paint it black if you want but there is little point for its stock position that it's fitted in. As said in the original post, it will $95usd for the sample run not including postage.
