Cool, yes it's going to be an awesome build... Should sound amazing :astonished:

I would just be careful going for too much cam duration/overlap with a relatively heavy car running a relatively small NA engine.

With more cam duration/overlap you can run more compression because some of that compression 'goes out the door' with high overlap cam at lower RPM. Good for filling cylinders at high RPM.

Downside of that is usable, heavy-vehicle-shifting torque only becomes available much higher in the rev range which can be a real pain in the ass with a heavy road car.

I mention this because I have over-cammed and over-turbo'd cars in the past and while they are fun for a while or fun on track they can get tiresome to drive when caught out in the slightly wrong gear and a Camry pulls away from you!

LOL, yes there is possibly no better example than a Roadpacer!
Although current AWD Toyota C-HR with it's 85kw engine and 1500kg is pretty bad too.

If im honest this has happened more times than I care to count in my 240+T with the KG2T cam. On all occasions I felt like dying.

But in all seriousness just build something that suits you. There is no "best" formula. Thats not to say you shouldnt listen to anyone because some of the guys in here have some great experience and have built some nice cars.
