I put an engine oil cooler where the air box would mount usually and the standard intake doesn’t fit the larger throttle body.

Time for an update! I ended up getting the steering rack reconditioned due to it leaking.

I had a bit of fun with the door trims.

Put a spoiler on the boot.

Got it registered.

Got a mod plate for the reduced seating capacity.

I think that brings me up to date, still have a few small things to sort out before taking it for its maiden voyage, but I’m otherwise happy with how it’s going so far.

That is my first port of call this afternoon, hopefully it is something simple like that.

Ok, so the car didn’t make it to #ozvolvonats2018, this was due to the fact that it kept jumping out of top (4th) gear. So I have now put an M47 in, it drives way nicer now and sits on 2000rpm at 100kmh in top (5th) gear, I will definitely have to look at changing the diff ratio from the 3.31:1 that is in it, should get great fuel economy though for the time being. ?

I do already have 4.10’s to put in, just want to drive the car for a while before I pull the diff apart.

I forgot to mention that I removed the undercar fuel pump and replaced it with a “washable” filter and put a walbro fuel pump in the tank a while back too.

Lh2. 4 defaults to run at 14.4 at all times and unless you put an ostrich on, it will do it's thing, especially on a stock motor with untouched timing, even the change of cam for a stock one smaller than a vx3 will not affect it.

The pointless wideband I added was hovering around the 10:1 AFR range until today when I changed the O2 sensor & coolant temp sensor, now hovers nicely around the 14.5:1 AFR range.
