Tommo53 Quite a loud knock coming from the front on large compressions/rebounds on the 2008 T6 V70III. Had the car at the mechanic recently and they couldn't reproduce it on the road test or see anything on the hoist. Seems to be only on my commute I can get it to happen - but it is loud and certainly sounds unhealthy. Noise when it happens occurs on both the rebound and compression. Sound completely normal and feels healthy otherwise apart from this. Here's an audio sample (5 seconds in): Any ideas where to start? Cheers.
Philia_Bear Shock mounts or spring seats Could possibly be sway bar end links but less likely I would just rebuild the front end and move on Not very much $$$ if you do it yourself A front suspension rebuild on a p2 is required about once every 4 years or 80k km

Philia_Bear Rebuilding does not include the shocks or springs in this case I meant to say p3 but it does apply to p2 all the same
egads (she/her) You can get bilsteins to replace the 4c if you want. But shock mounts and spring seats is likely that sound.
